Incredible! One of the many superlatives I have used repeatedly to describe opening day of the Medford Farmers Market! Incredible community support, incredible food options, incredible entertainment from Susan Cattaneo and Miranda Aishling, incredible job by our new market manager, Stacey, and assistant manager, Anna.
This is an incredible culmination point which Margaret Weigel, Marc Gurton, Allison Goldsberry and the rest of the original market board envisioned with the original market. We are pleased to be stewards of that vision, and will energetically continue to expand upon it. Thank you for your support and patronage!

Let Us Entertain You This week’s entertainment and events
This week, we have Medford’s Singer/songwriter Michael
Maloney playing from 3-5PM. He creates a blend of his favorite styles: Classic, Soft, and Pop Rock, taking from his heroes The Beatles, Elton John, The Beach Boys, Coldplay, and Oasis. He recently raised $800 for Boston Children’s Hospital, through the sales of his “Maybe This Christmas EP”. A “One Man Band”, Maloney plays every instrument on his recordings: guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukelele, and harmonica. His songwriting has been featured on the Jordan Rich Show 1030 AM WBZ. You can preview his debut album “First Step” on Amazon/iTunes and find him on Facebook and Youtube.
We also have Intimate Sensual performing from 5-7 PM. They are a folk/jam band based around a singer songwriter sensibility. This band has been playing together for years and is entirely made up of Medford locals with Caio De Sousa on guitar and vocals, Felipe DaCosta on bass, Anthony Prestigiovanni on Trumpet and AJ Tucci on drums. The Intimate Sensual has an expansive repertoire of originals as well as many popular rock, folk, and pop covers. They provide an atmosphere of raw danceable, jammable music, and could be welcome at any musical event.
If you’d like to sing, dance, lead an activity, or otherwise capture the spotlight at our market, send us an email.

We have 14 vendors coming this week to the market. You will be able to find everything from organic produce and grass fed meats to incredible coffee, home baked goods and jewelry and crafts!
