Getting to the Market:
Our market is at Condon Shell Park on Route 16, and the traffic on that road can get mighty heavy during the afternoon hours! Luckily, the Farmers Market has lots of options to help our shoppers avoid the traffic jam.
Parking:
- In South Medford, free parking is available along Winthrop Street by the ball fields and along South Street.
- You can also park in Medford Square on Route 60 — and there are no parking meters west of the library. The library is just a 3 minute walk from the market! Simply cross the street, walk down the steps behind St. Joe’s, and push the walk button at Route 16. This walk signal is very responsive and the crosswalk is short and gives plenty of time to safely cross.
- If the slow moving cars on 16 don’t get you down, there are 60 free parking spots at the market site itself.
Walking/Biking Routes:
We encourage everyone to walk or bike to the market if you can! We are immediately accessible from the bike/pedestrian paths that connect to the market all the way from Whole Foods on the Somerville/Arlington line.
MBTA:
We are also a short walk from the heart of Medford Square via Main Street or the river bridge across from Governors Avenue. This means that the 94, 95, 96, and 101 buses are also nearby!
