3-5 Saint Silva, the musical moniker of Ben Dexter Cooley, writes layered songs that blend genres and influences. Using a combination of live looping and sequencing, Saint Silva’s music creates a warm soundscape inspired by nature and interpreted through modern instrumentation.

5-6:30 Cameron Sutphin: In 2017 as a solo act, Cameron released his debut Nashville Recorded C.D. Heartbreak Town. Since its release, the C.D. has been in rotation on the Jukebox at J.R.’s Café in East Windsor Connecticut, as well as several local folk radio stations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In addition to this, Cameron has appeared on the Blue Plate Special live audience radio program in Knoxville TN, and has had the privilege of performing at The Big E (New England’s largest agricultural fair) for the past two years. Cameron has also had the privilege to share the stage with many performing artists including national touring artist Drew Kelly, Mark Mandeville and Raianne Richards, as well as Emily Ann Roberts Season 9 runner-up on The Voice. Cameron performs original material as a solo acoustic act, and has performed at multiple venues in 30 states and Washington D.C.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council, an agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Stop by the Mystic River Watershed Association table for some watershed fun and to learn about our programs and volunteer opportunities! We work to protect and restore the Mystic River, its tributaries and watershed lands for the benefit of present and future generations and to celebrate the value, importance and great beauty of these natural resources.

Friends of the Fells is a nonprofit focused on promoting the conservation, appreciation, and sustainable enjoyment of the Middlesex Fells Reservation. We envision a Middlesex Fells Reservation where nature and people thrive in harmony, supported by a diverse and caring community conserving it for future generations. Join us at the Medford Farmers Market for some nature-based kids activities and arts and crafts while learning more about the Fells and how you can get involved!

Run Medford: On Sunday, September 18 we’re coming together to celebrate running. Medford is where it all started for Dave McGillivray, and after more than 40 years of running adventures, he wanted to show his appreciation the best way he knows how: by organizing a road race with the explicit purpose of raising funds that would directly benefit his home town.

Medford city summer concert

Condon Shell Summer Concerts: Danielle Miraglia & the Glory Junkies and a beer garden by Winter Hill Brewing.
