SERENADE YOUR SQUASHES!
Day-of update: Yes, the market is open 3–7 p.m.! No, a little rain doesn’t bother us; HOWEVER the 6 p.m. concert from Julie Rhodes has been postponed until August 10. Yes, that’s a Thursday! So, yes, you can follow our action plan (see below) then! But yes, you should still come to the market today. Wachusett’s in the house!
YOU GUYS! If you haven’t been to the market since way back in ye olde week 1, now’s the time! In addition to a full roster of fabulous foodstuffs from 3 to 7 pm AND two awesome musicians from 3 to 6 pm,
we’ve got fancy-pants live music ON STAGE(!): The Chevalier Theatre Commission is bringing blues-rocker Julie Rhodes to the Condon Shell from 6 to 8pm, overlapping with the last hour of the market. You know what to do: Come early, get your groceries, grab some picnic supplies (e.g. readymade sandwiches from Swissbakers or schmear Peg’s Preserves peach jam on a hunk of Bagel Land challah), snag a great spot in the grass, and settle in for the sweet tunes. Oh, and don’t forget the bug spray from our brand-new vendor Wachusett Naturals!
