Dear Friend of Farmers Markets,
We need your help to make healthy, fresh, seasonal, and local produce available to low-income Medford residents. Through initiatives such as our three-year-old EBT-matching program (which doubles shoppers’ SNAP benefits, formerly known as food stamps), our new subsidized farm-share program for seniors and low-income families, and our new free cooking classes, we are striving to find effective and long-lasting ways to make Medford healthier.
Read our annual appeal letter below for all the details about why we need your help to expand Produce in a SNAP! And then DONATE as much as you can. It’s easy, it makes you feel wonderful, and we will be very grateful.
PS: If you prefer to write a check, we gladly accept them too! Just make your check payable to “Mass Farmers Markets” (Note the first word is “Mass,” not “Medford,” as Mass Farmers Markets processes our checks for us). Send your check to:
Medford Farmers Market
18 Woods Edge Road

Thank you!!
