Welcome to the eleventh week of an amazing farmers market season.  We want to thank everyone for their participation, support and enthusiasm of the market!  All of you who continue to shop at the market even in the hottest of weather, donate your entertainment skills and time and all our vendors for selling amazing products!
YOU are all what makes the market!

Please invite your friends and family so they too can enjoy the community experience at the market.

Fruitfully yours,
The Board of Directors of the Medford Farmers Market

Let Us Entertain You This week’s entertainment and events

We have Shades of Green playing music from 5-7 pm.  Rohan McDonald and Tristan Jantz (of Shades of Green) will be performing as a duo this week at the market.  Shades of Green is a teen alternative rock/funk band based in Arlington Massachusetts. They’ve written many original songs and we do a variety of covers. They’re here to have fun, while staying as professional as possible!  Check out more about Shades of Green and watch their videos on their website
If you’d like to sing, dance, lead an activity, or otherwise capture the spotlight at our market, send us an email.

Community Table  This week’s community table

This week, we have Meghan VanStry at the community table this week to spread the word about Gold Award Projects, which is a community service project of the Girl Scouts.

We also have English At Large. English At Large provides free, practical, and accessible English language instruction to immigrant adults in 21 Boston area communities. Their vision is for all adults to possess the basic English skills they need to attain economic self-sufficiency, support their families, and become fully engaged in their community Their learner-centric focus ensures that learners receive practical, real-world English instruction, whenever and wherever they can meet.

If you’d like to join us at the Community Table, please send an email to us at medfordfarmersmarket@gmail.com

Notes from the Market Manager A weekly rundown of your farmers market

We had a great turn out for the Fitness Fest last week!  Our customers enjoyed yoga classes, chair massages and tons of delicious and nutritious foods!  We loved to see our customers sitting and enjoying the market and talking to vendors and enjoying a few minutes of our great community.

This week, we have 11 vendors coming to the market.  And the Medford Farmers Market’s reusable water bottles have been a hit! These bottles are made from TritanTM, acopolyester plastic that does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA). The bottles are impact, shatter, and leak resistant, with non-skid rubber bottoms. These durable 22 oz bottles are also FDA approved, and can carry both hot and cold liquids (up to their boiling and freezing points). Stop by the manager’s table and buy one for $7 while supplies last!

 See you at the market!
